"He's free. No more #ALS. No more pain. My very favorite person in the world is now my very favorite #angel."

Bill Markham will forever be known as one of Chattanooga's premiere television journalists. For decades, Bill helped fight crime as the front man for the city's CrimeStoppers program. But he began a fight of his own with a 2018 diagnosis of ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease. Surrounded by family, Bill passed away peacefully at his Decatur, Alabama home on April 15, 2019.
This website was created to help pay tribute to our friend and to raise funds in Bill's name for the ALS Association Tennessee Chapter. Please consider leaving a message or your favorite "Bill story." We'll make sure his family reads them. |
